FIGHTING AGAINST RACISM, VIOLENCE AND HATE CRIMES IN THE NAME OF IN THE NAME OF JUDAISM
TAG MEIR'S mission is to fight religious extremism, violence and incitement towards Israel’s minorities and promote the Jewish values of tolerance, pluralism and respect for the Other through education, advocacy and solidarity work.
Today, TAG MEIR has grown into a coalition of 51 organizations from across the political, religious/ideological spectrum who are united in the fight against racism and violence in the name of religion.
UNITED AGAINST RACISM
Hate and Racism in the name of Judaism is a disturbing and growing phenomenon in Israeli society. What began as “merely” graffiti on Mosques and desecration of Churches, quickly escalated into deadly attacks. Religiously-motivated racism cannot be tolerated in a democratic society.
TAG MEIR advances the values of tolerance, respect for the Other and coexistence with a uniquely Jewish voice.
We provides a platform for thousands of Israelis to send a clear message of moral support to the victims and their communities.
